Smart Knee Brace
A concept for a smart knee brace that can detect and document the angle of a patient's joint in use over space and time. We considered the brace in the context of both daily documentation and remote physical therapist sessions. The brace would be programmable to notify the wearer when they over-extend a joint, through either haptic vibrations, a blinking light, or both.
The time spent on this project was primarily on experimenting with and building the technical aspects and the potential interface. I worked on coding the brace with Hridae, while Omar and Alvin worked on the physical aspects of the project.
